I recently wrote about Mary-Kate Olsen and her Jimmy Choo fringe clutch, and I am writing about her again. I can’t help it if she is photographed with fantastic fringe handbags!

The American fashion designer, businesswoman, author, and former actress and producer was out with her sister Ashley Olsen at the 2010 American Image Awards at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in NYC.

They were there to present the award “Brand of the Year” to shoe designer Steve Madden, who collaborated with the Olsens on their Elizabeth and James shoe line.

And it was Mary-Kate’s fringe handbag that caught my eye and prompted me to write this blog post:

I believe this is the same fringe bag Mary-Kate toted when she attended Paris Fashion Week with ex-boyfriend Nate Lowman in October 2009.

So what do you think? Is it the same orange-beaded fringe bag or not? I haven’t found the exact bag, but its style reminds me of this evening bag from Whiting and Davis.

It’s the same wristlet style and bottom-of-the-bag fringe, but this one is all glamorous with its brass mesh and crystals, while Mary-Kate’s is more boho with its beads and orange and brown colors. I’ll be looking for fringe bags similar to Mary-Kate’s!
