On September 22 during the Milan Fashion Week, Marni debuted its Spring/Summer 2014 collection.
Many have been talking about the presentation because despite some technical difficulties that prevented designer Consuelo Castiglioni from playing music, the show still went on and the brand showcased superb pieces that wiped out minimalism.

If you remember, Marni’s Spring 2013 collection was more on checkered patterns in rather monochromatic color schemes.
The Fall 2013 collection, on the other hand, was, well, very wintry. The pieces were subtle in shades of black, gray, and white.
For the new collection, Castiglioni relied on embellishments, including 3D floral designs, statement prints, and sparkling crystal embroideries.
There were also some sporty separates that were styled with embellished visors! Marni’s Spring/Summer 2014 collection is practically about feminine and wearable clothing pieces.

Aside from dresses, accessories, and footwear, Marni’s new bags seem particularly perfect for everyday use!
They have geometric designs, elegant and structured silhouettes, and check patterns. Every bag is actually appealing, but the design that got us interested the most is the shopping bag with the net and nylon weave.
