Even with possibly the worst snowstorm that ever hit the city, Marc Jacobs still managed to push through with his Fall 2013 runway show at the New York Fashion Week on Monday.
Indeed, it was a show worth braving the harsh cold winter season as well as the inches of snow on the road.
Marc Jacobs is widely revered for his handbags
Marc Jacobs is a huge fan of past fashion decades, so it was no surprise that he opted to go for the ’70s as the major inspiration for his current must-have ready-to-wear collection.
Retro-inspired tailored pieces, understated prints, and colors, and big hair — that’s pretty much what went down on the runway.
But aside from those pieces, what caught our eyes were the structured and boxy handbags that almost all the models were seen carrying.
