In an interview with People this month, Kristen Bell shares details about her relationship with Dax Shepard as they navigate it after his opioid addiction relapse and during the pandemic.

Dating since late 2007 after meeting at a mutual friend’s small sushi birthday dinner, they married at the Beverly Hills County Clerk’s Office on October 16, 2013.

“We’ve learned everything about each other because we haven’t been able to leave!” she said about the importance of seeking counseling to reconnect with one another.

“The main thing I’ve learned is something I learned from Glennon Doyle, which is that we just need to give each other grace under circumstances.”

“Everyone’s proclivities are kind of bubbling over because we’re all caged in with each other,” she added.

“Dax and I, when we started this pandemic, were at a point in our marriage where we definitely needed a little therapy brush-up.”

“Every couple of years, we’re like, ‘We’re being very antagonistic towards each other,’ and we don’t want that,” the actress continued.

“We go back to therapy and figure out what I’m not doing that’s best for you and what you’re not doing that’s best for me, and how we can serve this team goal better. It’s been incredibly helpful.”

Just when we thought Kristen Bell couldn’t get any more adorable, eight years ago the then 32-year-old mom-to-be looked cute as a button when she stepped out for lunch with her fiancé, Dax Shepard, and some friends in Los Angeles.

Not related to Lake Bell, she was all casual and bundled up, but there was no mistaking her growing baby bump underneath all those layers.

Aside from her apparent cuteness, what caught our eye was her bright yellow bag that was certainly the focal point of her whole casual and comfy outfit.

She gave birth to their first child, Lincoln Bell Shepard, on March 28, 2013. “Lincoln Bell Shepard is here,” Dax tweeted. “She has mom’s beauty and dad’s obsession with breasts. Hooray!!!”

“My new roommate poops her pants and doesn’t pay rent…basically Dax pre-sobriety,” Bell added. “Welcome baby Lincoln.”

The bright hue is a clear indication of Kristen’s bubbly personality shining through what she wears. What do you think?
