Aside from ruffled bags, Katherine Heigl likes python-embossed totes.
Known for her role as Dr. Izzie Stevens on the hit medical drama Grey’s Anatomy, she’s been spotted carrying a snake-printed shopper more than a couple of times, the latest being just last week. Allow me to show you a few pictured:

Any idea who made that shopper? It looks very familiar and yet I can’t seem to put a name to it. I have a strong feeling it’s from either Marc Jacobs or Michael Kors, but I have yet to confirm my suspicions.

Now, what do you think of the bag? Can you appreciate exotic skinned accessories such as this one? Some may not like the idea while others wouldn’t mind.

Personally, I wouldn’t mind wearing pythons, snakeskins, lizard skins, or croc skins, as long as they are all artificially produced. Ergo, not really coming from the poor animal.
If you like Katherine’s bag and you want it in real snakeskin, here’s a purse from Beirn. It comes with a chain detailed handle for that edgy style:

If you don’t like the idea of carrying actual snakeskin in your hand, you can go for python-embossed leather instead, such as these bags from Brighton and Furla:
Brighton Nolita Pleated Hobo, $320
Furla Laila Hobo Pitone, $395
Both bags can be purchased at Zappos. As you can see, these python-embossed leather purses retail at a much lower price than real snakeskin or python.
However, if $300-$400 is still too much for your pocket, then opt for snake-embossed synthetics instead, such as this one from Steven:
