Season after season, we see resurfaced trends being showcased from the high fashion runways to the streets.

Last month, we featured stylish backpacks. This time, we’d like to open the discussion for another resurfaced trend we spotted — the fanny packs.

Designers have reinvented these belt bags and turned them into ultra-chic accessories, incorporating glam hardware, eye-catching patterns, and exotic animal leather into fresh styles.

Rachel Zoe is one of the famous faces who advocates this trend. Last year, she was spotted multiple times sporting the belt bag from her very own fashion line. Other fans include Kate Bosworth and Rihanna.

The famous stylist is one of the reasons why belt bags had an unexpected uprising in the last couple of years.

Dubbed as the high-fashion fanny pack, these once gauche, forgotten fashion pieces seem to be making a comeback. But we’re not entirely sure if it will stay for long.

What do you think? Will you give these belt bags a chance, or should they be chucked way, way back into the closet once again?
