If I had more money than I could handle, I would go buy myself some McQueens.

Yes, some Alexander McQueens. And I don’t mean his leather totes, I mean his oh-so covetable clutches. Those hard cases that remind you just how brilliant and fantastically amazing the designer was.

And although he is already gone, I am actually quite glad that Sarah Burton was the one chosen to fill his shoes. She knew him well enough to know, understand, and keep the McQueen aesthetic.

McQueen’s latest knuckle busters and skull minaudières demonstrate just how familiar she was (and is) with his style:

Alexander McQueen Cathedral Skull ClutchAlexander McQueen Cathedral Skull Clutch, $2,950

Alexander McQueen Chained Dagger Skull Knuckle Box ClutchAlexander McQueen Chained Dagger Skull Knuckle Box Clutch, $2,930

Aren’t these purses super exquisite? I am going gaga over the Cathedral, how about you?

If I had one, I would probably put it next to me when I sleep. Sorry if I sound freakishly obsessive; I’m a HUGE fan.

It’s just too bad really because these hard cases are truly expensive and for me to be able to afford one, I probably have to save for about a year (or maybe more).

You can find these Alexander McQueen bags at Nordstrom. For more styles, you may also check out Alexander McQueen at Farfetch.
