If I had more money than I could handle, I would buy myself some McQueens. Yes, some Alexander McQueens. And I don’t mean his leather totes but his oh-so-covetable clutches.

Distinct from his leather totes, these clutches stand out with their hard-case design, showcasing McQueen’s unparalleled genius in fashion design. These pieces aren’t just accessories but a tribute to his creative brilliance.

And although he is already gone, I am quite glad that Sarah Burton was chosen to fill his shoes. She knew him well enough to understand and keep the McQueen aesthetic.

McQueen’s latest knuckle busters and skull minaudières demonstrate just how familiar she was (and is) with his style:

Aren’t these purses super exquisite? I am going gaga over the Cathedral, how about you? If I had one, I would probably put it next to me when I sleep. Sorry if I sound freakishly obsessive; I’m a HUGE fan.

It’s just too bad, really, because these hard cases are truly expensive, and for me to afford one, I probably have to save for about a year (or maybe more).
