It’s true what they say — accessories, particulary shoes and bags, can make or break an outfit. A perfectly chosen extra can make a difference, no matter how subtle. Shoe addicts will say looking good is all about wearing the right shoes. Bagaholics on the other hand, will claim otherwise. Of course, the reality is that both have to complement the rest of what you’re wearing to achieve that picture-perfect attire.

October’s top bloggers understand the value of accessories. But more than that is how they’ve managed to create a totally different look with these accessories by injecting their own personal style. Take a look…

1. Sami from Madrid, Spain

Whoever said you can’t wear too many exotic prints?

On paper, mixing leopard with plaid and croc may sound over the top, but strangely, Sami was able to pull off the mix with flying colors.  Don’t you think she looks chic?

Sami is a Spanish blogger who also happens to be a law graduate specializing in foreign trade (textiles). Follow her on Mientras Me Visto.

2. Eleonora Petrella from Italy

With a blog called It Girl, you could say the name fits this 22-years-old’s va-va-voom persona. One look at Eleonora and your jaw will literally drop. The Italian stunner has the Cali-girl vibe that men would easily fall for.

But more than that is her sassy fashion sense. This girl is a pro at mixing and matching. Check out the unexpected way she paired a safari jacket with an edgy studded purse.

3. Jenny Tsang from Los Angeles

Jenny Tsang of TsangTastic is the kind of gal you’ll probably envy if you were in high school — pretty, angelic, fabulous skin, with long and slender legs. Yes, basically the kind of girl who can look good in anything.

Here’s  the thing though, she’s all that and more. This girl is also smart and clever. She makes sure she gets mileage out of her designer accessories. For example, check out some of the many outfits she has cooked up using her beloved Chanel purse (second picture).

4. Amy from United Kingdom

Amy is a 19-year-old who loves Pokemon and music festivals. She also keeps herself busy by writing for her blog, Amy Valentine.

Amy is here today because of her patent purple purse. We just love the way it complemented her hair. We especially like the yellow gold snake-print peeking in between that made her bag (and outfit) all the more interesting.

5. Kavita Donkersley from Sheffield, North of England

Kavita is a chameleon from Sheffield, North of England. One minute she can look glam, and then switch it up to a laid back hip-hop style the next. Speaking of which, don’t you find the pairing she put together below intriguing? It’s fresh and fly, and we love how the strappy purse added texture to her look.

Kavita’s blog is called, She Wears Fashion. She also runs an online store selling vintage or re-worked pieces.

6. Rox from Houston, Texas

We don’t know her real name, but we’d like to think it’s Roxanne. This exotic beauty hails from Houston, Texas and keeps herself busy with her blog, Rox The Fox.

The unconventional pairing she put together below is what drew us to this brunette stunner. Metallic-on-metallic-on-patent will typically sound overdone, but not on Rox. She somehow made the combo work by finishing it with cool sunnies and a purple studded purse (from Valentino) to break up all the greens and blues.
