8 years later, it was announced that Salma will produce a series about boobs. Ventanarosa, a production company formally founded by Salma Hayek in 1999, is developing HBO Max’s upcoming series, A Boob’s Life.
Based on the novel “A Boob’s Life: How America’s Obsession Shaped Me—and You” by Leslie Lehr that you can purchase on Amazon, it is about a 40-year old woman named Leslie who has her life turned upside down when her boobs start talking to her.

“We are so appreciative that HBO Max was insightful and bold enough to develop this show with us,” Hayek said in a statement about the series that is set to be a half-hour comedy.
“In A Boob’s Life, we use breasts as a metaphor for the constant judgment women are submitted to, creating a collective sensation that no matter what we do we are never enough. In this show, we give the breast a voice that takes us through the life of a woman from a unique perspective that often we don’t dare to see.”

In an interview on BBC’s “The Graham Norton Show” in December 2011, the Mexican film actress revealed that she has not always been confident about her figure. As a young girl, she used to pray for bigger breasts.
“I went to a church that had a saint that was supposed to do a lot of miracles,” Hayek said about desiring a womanly figure. “I put my hands in the holy water and went: Please Jesus give me some boobs.”
“I was getting teased a lot because everyone was older and I was the skinny tomboy,” Hayek added about having the smallest breasts in her class.

Considered by many to have the world’s best breasts, Salma claims not to have had plastic surgery or any other cosmetic procedures.
At the 2013 Film Independent Spirit Awards, the then 46-year-old actress was dressed in head-to-toe Alexander McQueen while presenting an award at the event.
The ISAs were hosted by one of Saturday Night Live’s resident comedians Andy Samberg. It’s a busy weekend for Salma as she was also scheduled to present an award at the 2013 Academy Awards.
