How long has it been since the hit show O.C. ended? Remember Mischa Barton, the prodigal heroine in the series? Well, she turned up at the bag launch of KIN by Andre Borchers a few days ago.

The former style-setter attended the event in a black halter tea-length dress, which she paired with a statement necklace and heeled cap-toe loafers.

Stana Katic’s lookalike finished her look with one of the designer’s creations – a multicolored tote with a really playful print.

The combination is a bit odd, yes? The cartoonish bag doesn’t go with the sultry black dress at all. Even her choice of footwear is questionable (although we get the feeling those shoes will look good with some other outfit).

However, we will overlook both facts since it is a bag launch she’s attending. And besides, we’re more curious about the bag. It’s not often you see a purse with such an unconventional print. Here’s a closer look at Mischa’s tote:

It’s fascinating, yes? Do you like it? It’s not ideal for the season, but if you’re bored with fall’s dark colors, feel free to brighten up your look with something printed and pastel, like Mischa’s KIN tote.

There’s not much information on the German label online, but if you’re interested in quirky and playful printed purses like it, here’s a nice one from ICON that you can try.

This one’s available on Amazon. Depicting an 1888 oil painting by the Dutch artist Vincent van Gogh, it isn’t as colorful, nor is it cartoon-ish, but it’s really cute and quaint:
