Before we say goodbye to summer, let’s have another bag-filled post to feed your sartorial senses today. This is, of course, courtesy of our featured bloggers for the month of August. Whether you’re in the mood for a quirky cartoon-printed satchel or a fur-trimmed fall-worthy crossbody purse, there’s one here to suit your fancy.
1. Barbara Ondrackova from Czech Republic
Up on our list is a sophisticated blond beauty named Barbary Ondrackova. She’s here today for two simple reasons. First, we are loving her ultra-fashionable “brown bag.” Yes, we know it’s a fold-over clutch tinted with that really gorgeous chestnut color, but the “brown bag” idea sounds a lot more fun and playful.
The second reason is her really pretty crystal-clear clutch. You can tell that this girl has a fine taste in bags, yes? See more fantastic arm candies from Barbara over at Vogue Haus.
2. Junko Suzuki from Japan
Color blocking in black and white has never looked this cool. Agree?
We love the super-sized black-and-white clutch. It’s clean, simple, and straightforward, and it goes well with Junko Suzuki’s whole look. And dare we say, the unexpected head gear (if you can call it that) looks perfect.
3. Irina Sidorenko from Ukraine
One look and you can instantly tell that the leggy Irina is a model. And it took us just one good look to realize that we seriously want her quilted backpack. It’s classic yet so not simple. Visit Irina’s namesake blog, Irina Sidorenko, for more looks.
4. Paula Sielawa from Poland
We never thought this mix could work, but Paula S. of Carla Verne, a student blogger from Poland, managed to put studs and fringes together and make the whole combination ultra wearable. It’s flapper girl with rock-star edge. Would you wear her outfit?
Did we mention we’re crushing on that super cool studded tote of hers? It reminds us so much of the Valentino Rockstud trapeze bag!
5. Vanessa Hong from Vancouver, Canada
Cool girl on the street! That’s Vanessa Hong of The Haute Pursuit. She’s a fashion-forward blogger and designer whose life (and closet) you will probably envy.
We love the edgy getup she put together here, but even more stunning is that boxy tote she used to cap off the whole look. You want it? Pre-order it at Neiman Marcus!

6. Jen A.
We honestly don’t know where Jen is from, but we love how she mixed her leather look with something as native as a beautifully printed “tribal” tote. The mix looks surprisingly good, yes?

7. Anna from Melbourne, Australia
Another fashionista who doesn’t say much on her blog, Passion of Fashion, is Anna. But honestly, who needs words when you can let the pictures do the talking?
Below is one outfit we deem very lookbook-worthy. The mix of colors and textures is simply spot-on. Even better is how she infused a pop of yellow to pull the whole outfit together.
8. Ester D. from Portugal
Craving some quirky style inspiration? Head over to Ester’s blog, Drawing Dreaming. This girl could literally be the poster child of ModCloth. From cartoon-print bags to Peter-Pan-collared dresses, Ester has them — speaking of which, we are down with that colorful (and super fun!) satchel of hers. It blends well with her pretty polka-dot dress, yes?!
9. Daniela Ramirez from Miami, Florida
Forget turquoise, red, or pink. Take a cue from Daniela Ramirez, and go for tangerine if you want to spice up a black-and-white outfit. Here she is flaunting a fabulous Givenchy tote in bright orange. It’s a roomier version of the “Nightingale” with an open top — perfect for traveling! Check out Daniela’s blog, Nany’s Clozet, for more of her musings.
10. Visala from Hong Kong
Because September is the beginning of the fall season, we thought we’d appropriately end this post with a sleek fur-trimmed crossbody purse from Visala. We love the way this Hong Kong–based fashionista mixed her furry purse with a textured top and a printed skirt. The combination seriously rocks. Do you agree?
