Late last month, Katharine McPhee was spotted filming scenes for her TV drama musical Smash in New York City. She is also a vocal coach for American Idol contestant Angela Kristine “Angie” Miller (known by her stage name Zealyn).

The actress had on a bright blue coat and a very familiar-looking purse slung across her body. It was a Coach, no doubt, one that we also saw on Elizabeth Banks last year:
