This post is a bit late, but seeing Jessica Alba repetitively use her Viktor & Rolf makes me realize it doesn’t matter.

Just before Christmas, we first saw her with the metal-cornered handbag while shopping in L.A. She seems pretty fond of the piece; check out these pictures.

Okay, maybe it’s more like an obsession. I’m sure she has a closet full of handbags. I mean, she can probably use a different one for each day. But no, no, no, Jess opted for her Viktor and Rolf.

I can’t blame her, of course. The ‘Just In Case’ bag (yep, that’s what it’s called) holds an edgy and practical appeal. And most probably, what makes it so attractive are those metal corners reminiscent of a vintage suitcase.

It is one of the first pieces from the Dutch duo’s new accessories line, which is coming out this spring. Other colors, from brown, pale pink, and even animal print, are available.
